  • The Hamilton Co-operation with the Professional Community (CPC) Committee of Alcoholics Anonymous is seeking ways to contact professional people to set up programs and workshops that will increase knowledge and understanding of Alcoholics Anonymous. We provide information about where we are and what we can and cannot do. We believe that professionals are our best allies in getting the AA message to the still suffering alcoholic. Hamilton Correctional Services Committee

The primary purpose of the committee is to carry the A.A. message and supply literature.

The committee chairperson and coordinators shall deal directly with the staff and personnel of the institution.

To become a volunteer in the institution requires a minimum continuous sobriety of two years. Because we are entering highly restricted areas there are application forms to be completed and submitted to the institution. A police background check is completed. A personal interview is conducted and an orientation session must be attended.

If this is something you would like to do, you must be an A.A. member. You can submit your name and how you would like to be contacted via this website (Contact Institutions Chairperson) or at:

A.A. Central Office,
627 Main Street East, Suite # 205
